Around here we had our weekend start with an Easter egg hunt at 10am, the perfect time to start eating chocolate. Not only does it give the kids the much needed boost required at 10am, it also gives them a chance to show how well they share. I am happy to say that my kids were great when it came to sharing as they kept pointing out eggs to each other making sure that they all got their fair share. As for other kids that I witnessed, it was all for me and screw you if you get in my way. They barged through everyone with no regard for the safety of others, just the chocolate. These are the ones that deserved last years old mouldy chocolate so that later in the day they would pay for their actions with repeated trips to the loo. If at all lucky mom or dad may have to clean up after them as payment for ignoring their antics earlier in the day. Personally, I had a flock of vultures following me as I tried to hide eggs for my kids and finally gave up and just placed the eggs out for whoever. Later in the day brought the family visit to my sister`s house, and celebration for Grandpa`s birthday. The kids had a great time playing and Jeff got a chance to try out his new goalie equipment, although it was his cousin who was the star goalie on this day. The equipment was so big that when he fell down he couldn`t get back up, which was funny to watch, but he was a trooper and stood in there trying his best. We had my dad`s brother, Great Uncle J, As well as cousin D and his family, which consisted of his 6 month old baby girl. My kids loved holding the baby, although as soon as someone said birthday cake, Frick almost tossed her onto the floor as she couldn`t get up fast enough. Following cake came, wait for it, more chocolate, yeah. Now don`t get me wrong, there were jelly beans that I kept stealing from the kids, with no quilt whatsoever.

| Sorry, wrong bunnie |
As you can see we have not even got past Friday and the kids are loaded up with chocolate, so what could possibly change for the rest of the weekend? Well, Aunt B (she is the one that ran 30K recently), Uncle W and cousin B showed up for a visit. Aunt B begged for chocolate to the point that the kids felt sorry for her and handed over full bunnies. Later in the night the kids were spotted jumping from the sofa table receiving Olympic scores from their Aunt and Uncle, who were laughing knowing that this was not common behaviour in our house. If I find one of the kids on the roof of the garage with an umbrella in hand there will be payback and it won`t be babysitting. In fact I believe that was their master plan all along.
I have gone on far to much about our weekend and could write forever, but then again I have been eating the left over chocolate since 7:30am.
